Onnie Scheyer, Senior Partner
Onnie Scheyer is a long-standing development consultant who has provided counsel and expertise to nonprofit organizations across the metropolitan Chicago area. With a focus on the arts, education, and social services, she has been assisting organizations in expanding their funding bases since 2008. Her earlier professional work included arts management at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Scheyer is a specialist in research, proposal and case statement writing, and strategic positioning for nonprofit organizations. She has worked with Christo Rey Network, Civic Leadership Foundation, Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund, Erika's Lighthouse, The One-to-One Learning Center and Writers Theatre, among others. Scheyer also serves on The Ravinia Festival Women’s Board and is a past member of the New Trier High School Board of Education. Scheyer is a Senior Partner at The Swinton Group, specializing in capital campaign management. In this role, she assists organizations in conducting needs assessments, feasibility studies, and other tasks associated with developing and facilitating capital campaigns. Scheyer holds her B.A. from Scripps College.
